Dawn L. Bruner, M.D., F.A.A.P
Dr. Bruner is a native of Minnesota. She matriculated at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, graduating
Magna Cum Laude. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical School,
Omaha, she continued her medical training at the University of California, Irvine. While there she
distinguished herself by receiving the Intern of the Year Award. Upon completion of her residency
training at UCI pursued post-graduate training in Pulmonology at the Brompton Hospital, London,
England.
Upon completion of her postgraduate training, Dr. Bruner accepted a position as Staff Pediatrician in the
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at CHOC. She joined the Pediatric and Adolescent Medical Group in
January 1989. Since that time the group has undergone several name changes, a change of location,
and outside ownership, but Dr. Bruner has been there for her patients through it all.
