Our Physicians:
Each of our physicians is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and are Fellows of the American
Academy of Pediatrics. Being a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) means that the
physicians has achieved recognition for meeting the standards of excellence of an organization whose
purpose it is "to encourage the study, improve the practice, and elevate standards of pediatrics". It also
means that the physician has joined the ranks of some 63,000 individuals similarly certified in the last sixty-
five years.
Our Staff:
We have a caring and compassionate staff that treats your children as one of their own.
When you enter our office or contact us by phone, you will first encounter a member of our administrative
staff.

Erika (Coordinates and assists the physicians with refills of ADD or ADHD medication)
Sabrina (Oversees incoming and outgoing medical records)
Sandra (Our referral coordinator - processes all HMO referrals to a specialist office or any outside service)
Once the administrative tasks have been completed - you and your child will be escorted to an exam room by
a member of our clinical staff. They work closed with each physician to meet the individual needs of every
patient and to provide a pleasant experience for your child.

We work in a "care team" concept - One Physician, One nurse or medical assistant, and One Patient.
After your child's visit - our business office staff works with you to ensure that your insurance processes
and pays on your claim, thus reducing your out of pocket expense.
Pam (Assists patients with PPO insurance coverage)
Alison (Assists patients with HMO insurance coverage - such as SJHAP and Monarch Health Care)
Sandie (Assists patients enrolled in one of the CalOptima programs)
Our office manager, Kendy Maxwell, is always available to discuss concerns or answer questions about our
office. She also serves as our privacy and security officer.
