Norah Gutrecht, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Gutrecht was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated from
the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine. She completed her
internship at the Lukes-Miller Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota and her
residency in Pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Gutrecht then began an academic career at West Virginia
University and moved to California in 1976, joining the Faculty of the
Department of Pediatrics at the University of California Irvine Medical
School. In 1980 she entered private practice and continued teaching
at UCI. She has authored several scientific papers and chapters in
pediatric books. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics,
and member of several national and international societies. She is a
Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCI Medical School. She has been
and is chair and member of different committees at UCIMC, St. Joseph’
s Hospital, CHOC and Western Medical Center.
