Dan Mackey, M.D., F.A.A.P
Dr. Mackey is a native of Southern California and was raised in
Whittier. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine
receiving his Bachelor of Science degree and Excellence in
Research Honors. He received his medical degree at the
University of California San Diego School of Medicine. While in
medical school, Dr. Mackey was very involved in adolescent
health education, coordinating the “Doctors Ought to Care”
program, which educates adolescents regarding risk taking
behaviors. Dr. Mackey then returned to Orange County to
complete his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Orange
County.
Dr. Mackey volunteers his time as the advising pediatrician for
Mary’s Shelter a group home for pregnant and teen mothers, and
their children.
Dr. Mackey enjoys cycling, hiking, and kayaking in his free time.
He is married and has three children.
